At WWE Survivor Series 2022, Austin Theory defeated Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat Match to win the United States Championship.

You can watch how Theory won his 2nd US Title below:

Theory was interviewed by Cathy Kelley backstage after his Title win. Below is what he said about what’s next after his big win:

“Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Bobby Lashley are two former World Champions. Austin Theory walked in there tonight and beat both of them.

Call it what you want, but I call it a win. And the whole world knows now, me, Austin Theory, a two-time United States Champion.

But now where do we go? The now is right now and it is very clear. I’ve said it for the past few weeks and it is a reality. So anybody that wants to step up is getting sent home.

I don’t play games no more. There are no smiles, but there is action. I can do this all day and anybody that wants to go around, I’ll put them down. A-Town Down.”

โ€ข Old School WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Veteran Evan Karagias celebrates his 49th birthday today.

At first Evan was used as a jobber, when he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1997, but by late 1999 he joined “Sugar” Shane Helms & Shannon Moore and together they formed ‘3 Count’, a faction with the gimmick of a boy band.

When Vince McMahon bought the promotion in march 2001, Karagias was among the 24 WCW wrestlers who received a WWF contract, but he didn’t last long and only appeared a few times during the infamous Invasion angle, before he was released a few months later.
