• Backstage News On How Much Money Tony Khan Paid To Buy ROH

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan announced that he is the new owner of ROH Wrestling.

As the new Ring Of Honor Owner, the first thing Tony wants to do is make ROH’s video library available to the fans.

According to Bodyslam, Tony paid somewhere between $30-40 million to buy ROH:

“Not much was known about the specific details regarding Tony Khan’s purchase of ROH, however one source had stated to me that he heard it was in the $30-$40 million range, but I was unable to confirm that information with any other sources within either AEW or ROH.

When asking around about the sale of ROH and plans for the company going forward, sources confirmed to me that internal plans call for AEW to utilize Ring of Honor as a developmental territory of sorts.

Additionally, it was said that ‘Main Roster’ AEW Talent will be dipping into the ROH brand on occasion.”
