• Backstage News On How WWE Women Feel Competing In Body Suits In Saudi Arabia
Concerns about WWE’s women competing in full body suits at Saudi Arabia events continue to surface among fans, especially with the Women’s Royal Rumble on the horizon. However, new insight from a recent Fightful Select Q&A suggests the performers themselves are far less troubled by the situation than some viewers might assume.
The topic came up when a fan questioned how difficult it must be for the women – particularly those expected to last a long time in the match – to perform in what were described as “ridiculous bodysuits.” The concern centered on comfort, mobility, and the physical toll of wrestling for an extended period in additional layers of gear.
In response, Sean Ross Sapp pushed back on the idea that the wrestlers see it as a major issue, as the women competing are elite athletes who are accustomed to adapting to different conditions and gear requirements. Many have worn bodysuits in the past, even outside of Saudi Arabia, and approach it as part of the job rather than an obstacle.
It was also noted that the venues themselves are fully air-conditioned, eliminating the notion that performers are dealing with extreme or unsafe conditions. From a backstage perspective, the environment is controlled, and talent prepares accordingly for these appearances.
While the gear may not be ideal in every scenario, it was stated they have never heard of any WWE women dreading having to wrestle in Saudi Arabia due to the attire. In fact, several performers reportedly take pride in the custom gear created for these events, viewing it as a professional challenge rather than a burden.
• “F**k The Fed” – Fans After Tony Khan Reveals Original Plan For Debut Episode Of AEW Dynamite In 2019
When All Elite Wrestling brought the AEW Dynamite tapings to New York City on December 20, 2025, the setting alone carried historic weight. The taping took place at the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom, drawing a passionate crowd that was eager to hear from company leadership.
Before the show got underway, AEW President Tony Khan stepped out to address the audience. In addition to thanking fans for their support, he teased the possibility of bringing a future AEW pay-per-view to New York, which immediately sparked loud chants from the crowd calling for Madison Square Garden.
That chant led Khan to share a surprising story from AEW’s earliest days. According to him, Madison Square Garden was initially lined up to host the very first episode of Dynamite in 2019. Khan explained that MSG had reached out and offered him the date, an opportunity he said he was excited to accept at the time.
However, the plan quietly fell apart. Khan told the crowd that a few months later, he received another call informing him that the offer was no longer on the table. Khan was reportedly told that hosting AEW at MSG would “really upset somebody.”
The implication wasn’t lost on the audience, as chants erupted referencing WWE: “F**k the Fed.”
