• Baron Corbin Comments On Austin Theory’s Failed Money In The Bank Cash-In
Austin Theory cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract on last night’s RAW and failed to become champion.
He cashed-in on Seth Rollins for the United States Championship, but Bobby Lashley interfered and beat Theory up, which resulted in Rollins defeating Theory to retain the US Title.
Many fans feel that Theory was badly buried last night, especially since he cashed-in on a mid-card title and still couldn’t win.
However, RSN is reporting that WWE Officials are excited for Theory’s future and feel that he’s in a good position now, because he’s involved with RAW’s two top stars – Rollins & Lashley, and will continue chasing the US Title, which is considered the #1 singles title on RAW now.
One source also stated the following:
“Theory is better off today than he has been since Vince retired.”
After RAW went off the air, Baron Corbin tweeted:
“Hey @_Theory1 welcome to the club. We are a special group led by @JohnCena.”
Below is the list of names that cashed-in their Money In The Bank contracts and lost:
1. John Cena (2012)
2. Damien Sandow (2013)
3. Baron Corbin (2017)
4. Braun Strowman (2018)
5. Austin Theory (2022)
The above list doesn’t include Mr. Kennedy and Otis, because they didn’t cash-in. They lost their MITB contracts to Edge (2007) and The Miz (2020) respectively.
