• Batista Is Not Interested In Doing A Movie With The Rock & John Cena

While speaking to Complex, John Cena was asked whether he would share the screen with The Rock for a future movie.

Here’s what he replied:

“So, as somebody who enjoys entertainment, I think by you setting that stage I’m immediately intrigued. I feel as if that would be entertaining. There’s a lot more than my opinion to connect those dots, but I think it would be entertaining. So, I’m in.”

A fan then tweeted that Batista should also be included in a Rock-Cena movie (if it ever happens), and The Animal replied the following:

“Nah I’m good!!”

During a recent interview with JoBlo, Batista talked about his acting career and what kind of roles he wants to do.

Batista went on to note that he doesn’t want his roles to center around physicality and doesn’t want to do what The Rock (who’s the highest paid actor in Hollywood) does.

Here’s what he said:

“I’ve tried to go the other route. Like, The Rock is a perfect example of someone who uses that strength, so I wanted to go against that grain and make everything much smaller, very subtle.

I make a living off of subtlety. I want that to be my strength. I want that to be what separates us. I don’t want to be that guy who walks in that room, I never wanted to be that guy.

I don’t mean that as a dig on him, but you know how he is as a character. He feels very professional wrestling to me. I don’t want to be that guy. I want to be an actor. I want to act, I want people to judge me for my acting, my subtlety. I want to take roles that require that.

I don’t want to be a big action guy who just says cool sh*t and kills a lot of people and gets the girl. I don’t want to be that guy. I want to be the guy that makes people cry, who makes people think, who inspires people.

I want to be a dramatic actor. I just love it. I love acting.”

Batista also said the following a couple of years ago:

“Do not compare me to The Rock or John Cena. Everyone does it. Those guys are wrestlers who became movie stars. I’m…something else. I was a wrestler. Now, I’m an actor.”
