• Old School WWF Wrestler Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Attitude Era Veteran Brakkus (Real name: Achim Albrecht) celebrates his 58th birthday today.
After wrestling on some WWF house shows in 1997, Brakkus was sent to the USWA and then to Paul Heyman’s ECW to get some experience, before returning to the WWF in 1998.
Apart from matches on RAW IS WAR & Shotgun Saturday Night, his biggest match happened on a UK Special event called ‘WWF Mayhem In Manchester’, where he lost to “Double J” Jeff Jarrett.

• Becky Lynch Reveals When She Wanted To Lose The RAW Women’s Championship
While speaking on The Bellas Podcast, former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch revealed that she pitched the idea of losing the RAW Women’s Championship to Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania, but it didn’t happen.
“I knew I wanted to try and have a baby before 35, then I met [Seth Rollins] and was like, ‘Perfect, this is my person.’ This was always the plan. Originally, I was like, ‘I’ll wait until I’m done wrestling, then I’ll have a family.’ Then I started thinking, ‘Why do I have to do that? Guys don’t have to do that. Hell, I’ll just do it whenever the time feels right.’
We started trying and I thought it would take a long time, and it didn’t, we were super lucky. It happened before I would have expected and I was still champ at the time. I actually thought I was going to lose the title at WrestleMania, which I also pitched, but that was the end of it. Plans change.”
Lynch wanted to lose the Title to Baszler when she found out she was pregnant, but WWE didn’t take the risk and had the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match for it.
“I was like, ‘is there a way she can beat me real quick?’ [Seth] is like, ‘No! You’re not, no.’ ‘Yeah, you’re right.’ We talked a lot and decided, what if there’s a tournament for the #1 contendership and they don’t know they’re actually competing for the title.
Right as they go to have the last match, I tell them it’s for the title, but Money in the Bank was happening at the same time but it was too confusing to merge the two so they decided to do the Money in the Bank ladder match and have that as the title match without them knowing.”
