As we noted earlier, two time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair could be written off RAW soon, as an angle is being teased where Randy Orton will turn on The Nature Boy.

WrestlingNewsco is now reporting that Flair was brought back temporarily in order to boost ratings, as Vince McMahon wanted big names on RAW in absence of several top stars.

“WrestlingNewsco was told that everyone has been careful around Flair to minimize any risks to him due to his age and health issues, and Flair is said to be happy with his role as Randy Orton’s manager, but it was known from the start when he was brought in for the role that this would be a temporary thing.”
