Big Update On Why Jinder Mahal Won’t Be Dropping The WWE Title This Year

“The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal has been the longest reigning WWE Championship in 2017. He defeated Randy Orton to win the Title at Backlash 2017 and then went on to defend the Title multiple times on PPV against Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura.

Now, Mahal will once again face Nakamura to Hell in a Cell 2017 PPV to defend his WWE Title. We noted before how Mahal is expected to face John Cena at Royal Rumble 2018 in a WWE Title match, which would mean that Mahal remains WWE Champion for the rest of 2017.

One of the main reasons why Mahal is going to be WWE Champion for the rest of 2017 is because WWE is planning to do WWE Live Events in India in December.

We have noted before how the plan was always for Mahal to be WWE Champion at least till WWE does a tour of India. This tour was previously rumored to take place in September, but now it is expected to take place in December.

According to current reports, two Raw brand Live Events are planned to take place in India on December 7th & 8th, but it should be noted that Mahal (being a part of SmackDown Live) would still work those events as WWE has done this type of a thing at previous live events as well.

Raw Star On What The Undertaker Taught Him

During an interview with The Miami Herald, former WWE Champion and current Raw Superstar Bray Wyatt revealed what The Undertaker taught him. Below is what he said:

“I think the thing about keeping your character fresh is when you change as an individual you have to flow with it. There are times where fans don’t understand that change is inevitable or that changes are done too fast.

They say, ‘We like the way you used to be.’ Or they say, ‘We liked what you did then.’ You can’t stay the same. As you mature as an adult, you find out you have to keep changing in this business. It’s something The Undertaker laid on me.”

Jason Jordan On Roman Reigns

Below is what Raw wrestler Jason Jordan tweeted after his match with “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns on this week’s Raw:
