Below are a couple of WrestleMania 41 news stories.

• The lineup for WrestleMania 41 is taking shape, with speculation that John Cena will win the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match and challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of Night 2.

WrestleVotes previously reported that some people within WWE prefer adding CM Punk to the Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena match for the Undisputed WWE Title, turning it into a triple threat. This would be instead of the originally planned triple threat featuring Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns.

In an update, WrestleVotes reported that people who actually hold the booking power in WWE aren’t interested in this triple threat match and will be going ahead with the original plan of Rhodes vs. Cena for the title:

“We know that some in WWE would prefer a three-way match between Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and CM Punk as opposed to the rumored singles match between Rhodes and Cena and the rumored triple threat match between Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns.

According to a source, those feelings are not shared by everyone, with the expectation of this match being that it will not happen. We can confirm the Mania card is still being completed in totality.

However, the high-level matches are likely set, so the meat and potatoes of this little nugget, is that there are people that want Rhodes vs. Cena vs. Punk. However, it doesn’t seem like everybody wants it, and those people who don’t want it look to be holding the power.”

As of this writing, only one match is confirmed for WrestleMania 41 – Gunther (c) vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship.

• Despite speculation surrounding Hulk Hogan’s sudden absence from Saturday Night’s Main Event in January, it appears WWE is still working with the 2-time Hall of Famer.

WWE has confirmed Hogan’s involvement at WrestleMania 41, announcing that he will be part of an exclusive Real American Suite experience. Fans interested in a VIP meet-and-greet can purchase On Location’s Seat Priority Pass Package, which includes:

– A 2-day WrestleMania 41 luxury suite ticket

– All-inclusive food and beverages, featuring Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer

– A visit from Hulk Hogan in the suite

– Access to WWE World & the Superstore

This announcement follows speculation from Dave Meltzer, who suggested Hogan’s absence from Saturday Night’s Main Event may not have been solely due to his son Nick Hogan’s wedding. WWE had promoted Hogan for weeks leading up to the show and then Hogan didn’t appear.
