• Biggest Factor In Daniel Bryan’s Decision To Sign With AEW

As we noted earlier, former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan has signed with AEW and that his debut in AEW is “100% locked in”, according to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.

Bryan wants to work a light schedule while making a good amount of money, and have creative control over his character. He also wants to wrestle in New Japan Pro Wrestling. All these demands were met when he signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Word going on is that AEW wants to wrap up all their All Out pay-per-view plans before they bring in Bryan.

Bryan is currently rumored to make his AEW debut on the September 22nd episode of Dynamite (which will be a special episode titled “Grand Slam”), which will take place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

According to the Wrestling Observer, AEW’s partnership with New Japan Pro Wrestling (and their willingness to work with other promotions like Impact Wrestling and NWA) resulted in Bryan making his decision.

There were reports a while ago that WWE Officials were in talks with NJPW regarding a possible partnership. These talks were held with WWE Officials keeping Bryan in mind, but no deal was reached.
