• OLD SCHOOL HISTORY (August 4, 1984) – WWF Wrestling At The Chase
On this day in 1984, the World Wrestling Federation aired another episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling At The Chase’.
The ‘Wrestling at the Chase’ TV show was originally associated with the ‘St. Louis Wrestling Club’ NWA territory, so they featured the NWA Wrestling Superstars, but in the fall of 1983, the TV station KPLR-TV (Channel 11) ended the relationship with the National Wrestling Alliance and started to negotiate a deal with the World Wrestling Federation, the promotion that ended up taking over the famous TV show.
This episode was pre-taped in St. Louis, Missouri and featured the 1984 WWF Superstars.

• Billy Graham Takes A Shot At Vince McMahon For Trying To Gain Ratings With A Lesbian Angle
WWE recently teased a lesbian storyline between Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville on SmackDown.

WWE Hall of Famer Billy Graham took a shot at Vince McMahon for booking this storyline and you can read it below:
“Edgier
Vince has recently said, ‘That things around here are going to get a lot edgier’. So, he has been teasing a sure fire way to get better ratings by teasing a lesbian angle.
Sorry Vince, but that is old news, lesbian, gays, transgender and everything else you can think of is out there on local TV shows and commercials. I like the old Dylan line, ‘You better start swimming or you will sink like a stone’.
It is a reality Vince, the AEW is coming to a TV station near you in early October. Two girls making out will not help put one a$$ in a seat in any arena in the country, you got to do better than that.

During a recent interview with Uproxx, Mandy Rose was asked about this storyline and below is what she said:
“I don’t have many insights to offer on that. I think there’s definitely rumors and stuff like that. But it’s also hard to say because my character is pretty $exual and pretty sassy, the way I am.
So anything I do, it doesn’t really matter if it’s to Sonya or to anyone else. It’s just who my character is, so it’s hard to judge. But I guess you’re just going to have to stay tuned, right? You never know.”
