• Booker T Apologizes For NXT Halloween Havoc Incident

In the main event of Halloween Havoc this past weekend, Ricky Saints defeated Trick Williams to retain the NXT Championship. NXT commentator Booker T threw his headset after this outcome.

Booker T apologized for his behavior on his Hall of Fame podcast:

“I wanna apologize to the NXT Universe for throwing my headset at the end of the Ricky Saints – Trick Williams match. I was a little upset, I was backing my boy Trick Williams, but Ricky Saints… he showed up and went out there and did his job.

I just wanted to apologize because that got picked up in the news. Look, we’ve all got our favorites, it’s just part of the game.”

On this Tuesday’s NXT, Trick and Ricky brawled several times during the show. In two weeks at NXT Gold Rush, Saints will defend the NXT Title against Williams once again, this time in a Last Man Standing match.

• Penta Made Over $1 Million During WrestleMania 41 Weekend

During an interview on The Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, D-Von Dudley said Tony Khan isn’t the right person to book AEW’s product, and that the decrease in AEW’s TV ratings and ticket sales shouldn’t be blamed on the wrestlers.

D-Von praised AEW’s wrestlers and said if WWE had every single AEW wrestler, they’d be unstoppable.

The Tag Team Legend gave examples of wrestlers who jumped ship from AEW to WWE and experienced success. The Hall of Famer went on to make a big claim about Penta’s success in WWE:

“Penta made over a million dollars just selling masks alone during WrestleMania weekend. Just selling masks. He made that off merch. He never had a check like that from AEW… not a merch check.”

Penta competed in the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 41 earlier this year.

CM Punk Is Worried About His Upcoming WWE Schedule

This has begun speculation that Punk will become the World Heavyweight Champion again on November 1st and will have a busy schedule ahead.

Punk recently teased retirement during a WWE vlog, where he said the following:

“So I’m standing here now, near the end of my career. John Cena’s calling it quits, AJ Styles says he’s going to retire next year, and I don’t know how much time I’ve got left. I’m going to keep going until the wheels fall off.

I know that’s sooner rather than later. That’s why I think it’s important, for all of us, not just me, to celebrate every wrestler as they retire. There’s a whole new generation of talent coming in to take our place, and in a way, we’re excited to see that happen.”
