• BREAKING NEWS: New Champion Crowned On Tonight’s SmackDown

In the opening match on tonight’s SmackDown, King Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Nakamura is now a 2-time Intercontinental Champion. Crews was the Champion since WrestleMania 37 (he won the Title by defeating Big E, with help from Commander Azeez).

Prior to this match, John Cena & Universal Champion Roman Reigns came face-to-face to kick off tonight’s show.

During this segment, Cena & Reigns insulted each other. Cena also gave Reigns his “report card”, and Reigns got a D grade (and also called him D-bag and D-head).

Cena said WWE has been pushing Roman for 10 years and going by the numbers, it looks like only he’s buying the product.

You can read some of the lines that they said to each other below:

Cena: Roman Reigns will beat the hell out of me at SummerSlam, but he will lose at SummerSlam.

Reigns: You are good enough to win the WWE Championship, but not the Universal Championship.

Reigns: 20 Years of missionary was good enough for you, but it wasn’t good enough for Nikki Bella.

Cena: That’s why I’m back, dude. I’m the only one that can shut you up.

Cena: You almost ruined Seth Rollins, you ran Dean Ambrose out of WWE.

Cena: All I need is 1, 2, 3…and you’re the biggest FAILURE in WWE history.
