• BREAKING NEWS: Old School Wrestling Legend Passes Away
We’re sad to announce that Old School Wrestling Legend Angelo Mosca (aka King Kong Mosca) passed away earlier today at the age of 84.
Angelo Mosca was a former CFL (Canadian Football League) Football player, who eventually became a Professional Wrestler in the off-season and later wrestled full-time after his Football career ended in 1972.
Mosca wrestled for several territories in North America, such as Calgary Stampede Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida, Jim Crockett Promotions, the World Wrestling Federation, … among many others.
He also worked as a color commentator for the World Wrestling Federation in Canada (WWF Maple Leaf Wrestling) from August 1984 until January 1985.
We extend our condolences to Mosca’s family, friends and fans.

On this day in 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.
It was taped at the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Battlebowl 1993’ PPV.
