• BREAKING NEWS: WWE Releases Another Wrestler
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has released former two time UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez as a part of the budget cuts.
Cain only had two matches in WWE, out of which only one was televised. He made his WWE debut in a WWE Championship match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, where he lost to Lesnar via submission in just over 2 minutes.
He then had a tag team match at a WWE Live Event, where he was victorious alongside Humberto Carrillo.
WWE has released almost 50 employees this month. Last night, we noted that WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco, who had been with the company for over 35 years, got released as well.
