• Brock Lesnar Not Returning For Big SummerSlam Match Against Bobby Lashley?

As we previously reported, Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship was rumoured to take place at SummerSlam 2021 at one point, but it looks like that won’t happen.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has no plans currently to bring ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar back to the company:

“While there are a lot of rumors regarding the return of Lesnar, as of 6/15 there was no deal for him to return imminently. Of course it always could happen especially with the Saudi show late in the year and next year’s Mania. SummerSlam would also make sense but right now that’s still not anything agreed to nor expected at this point.”

Brock has not been seen since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre in the main event of WrestleMania 36 (Night 2).

SummerSlam 2021 will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, an arena that can hold up to 72,000 fans, which would make it the biggest SummerSlam since 1992 at the Wembley Stadium.

It is possible that WWE is saving Lesnar’s return for the Saudi Arabia PPV later this year, as Lesnar is all about big money and Lesnar makes over $1 million for each Saudi appearance.

Today would have been the 83rd birthday of Old School NWA Legend “Chief” Wahoo McDaniel (Real name: Edward McDaniel).

During his successful career in the NFL, Wahoo McDaniel also became a professional wrestler, who wrestled during the off-season in Football, but eventually turned to full-time pro-wrestling after he left the Miami Dolphins in 1968.

He was inducted into the short-lived WCW Hall of Fame in 1995, but in 2019 he was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.
