4. Roman Reigns’ Wellness Policy Violation Originally Being Covered Up?

As we noted before, WWE officials knew about Roman Reigns’ WWE Wellness Policy violation before Money In The Bank 2016. This resulted in Vince punishing him and booking him to lose the WWE World Title clean to Seth Rollins.

Word is that Vince McMahon originally wanted to end things with that and didn’t want to suspend Roman for 30 days, which was evident from the fact that Roman appeared the next night on Raw after Money In The Bank 2016.

However, Vince feared the news of the Wellness Policy violation leaking. This led to him suspending Reigns for 30 days (which is the amount of time for the first violation of the Wellness Policy) as he realized Reigns will be able to return in time for his big WWE World Title match at Battleground 2016.

If the news of the Wellness Policy violation got out before WWE’s announcement, then it would’ve been bad not only for WWE’s image, but also for Roman Reigns as even more fans would hate on him for being Vince’s so called “Golden Boy” and getting special treatment.

As seen on last night’s Raw, Roman’s suspension was addressed by Rollins during the opening segment of the show.
