• Brock Lesnar Wants To Go After Gunther’s Intercontinental Title
During the Men’s Royal Rumble 2023 match, Brock Lesnar and Gunther squared off, but they didn’t do much, as Bobby Lashley soon entered and began brawling with Lesnar.
Lesnar vs. Gunther was originally planned for WrestleMania 39, but Vince McMahon told Triple H to book Lesnar vs. Omos.
During an interview with UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier for ESPN, Lesnar was asked if he’d like to face Gunther in a singles match.
Here’s what The Beast said about the current Intercontinental Champion:
“I do. I don’t really care… it was just proposed, and I don’t make the calls around here. It’s just one of those things… When this was proposed to me, I liked it because I like the challenge, and I like the matchup.
We all want to be a champion, but I don’t think at this point in my career that I really need it. I would like another opportunity at it.
If things worked out that way, yeah. But things are crazy in this business.”
