On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Civic Center in North Charleston, South Carolina and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF King of the Ring 1993’ PPV.

AEW President Tony Khan thanked the wrestlers who worked on this week’s episode of Dynamite, but didn’t thank Chris Jericho (who worked as a commentator on this week’s episode).

Speaking of this week’s Dynamite, the show drew drew 692,000 viewers on TNT. On the other hand, this week’s episode of WWE NXT, which featured matches originally planned for NXT TakeOver: Tampa, drew 693,000 viewers on the USA Network.
This is the 4th time NXT has beaten Dynamite in terms of viewership in the Wednesday Night Wars.
