3. Sami Zayn Proves He’s The Rightful Intercontinental Champion
In what is expected to be one of the most exciting matches of the night, Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy will defend his Title against AJ Styles and Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat Ladder Match.
Although it seems like The Charismatic Enigma will retain the Title tonight, WWE may surprise everyone by having Sami Zayn win back the Title.
Zayn never got a proper run with the Intercontinental Championship due to him going on a hiatus (he became a father earlier this year), which is why WWE may put the Title back on him tonight.
To add to the comedy factor of the show, Zayn may tell the announcer to announce him as “still” Intercontinental Champion instead of the “new” Intercontinental Champion, if he ends up winning it tonight.
