CM Punk sparked controversy once again after his shoot promo about “Hangman” Adam Page, which he cut after AEW Collision went off the air this past Saturday.

Page was supposed to be at Collision to record a promo to hype up tonight’s Dynamite, but he was told it would be taped somewhere else when he arrived in town for the show.

There were also reports about Punk getting aggressive with Ryan Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler’s brother) after Nemeth called him the “softest man alive” on Twitter in response to him calling The Young Bucks “Counterfeit Bucks” in his return promo on the debut episode of Collision.

Nemeth was sent back home from last Saturday’s Collision after he arrived in town for the show.

PWInsider reports that one AEW talent believes that Nemeth being sent home may have been due to him walking around and saying hello to everyone at the hotel before the taping, but not stopping and saying hello to CM Punk and others Punk was with.

It was also noted that Punk was not behind Page being sent home and it was simply a case of the location for his promo being changed.

Speaking of Punk, he’s scheduled to face ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe at AEW’s All In pay-per-view at the Wembley Stadium on August 27th. No word yet on if Punk’s “real” AEW World Championship will be on the line or not.
