CM Punk as ECW Champion
In a recent interview with Troy McDonald, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio (now known as Alberto El Patron) talked about the WWE medical staff and former superstar CM Punk being sued by WWE doctor Chris Amann over defamation of character.
Here’s what Del Rio had to say:
“I never had any issues with the WWE medical staff. I’ve had problems with other departments similar to that. I know CM Punk, I know he’s not lying. Hopefully Punk goes well with this lawsuit and hopefully we get to see him pretty soon.”
Alberto was also asked on the possibility of seeing CM Punk in Lucha Underground in the near future. He didn’t give away much on this but assured that some surprises are coming in the upcoming weeks. Here’s what he said:
“You never know buddy. There will be more surprises coming in the next 3 to 4 weeks.”
As we know, CM Punk is currently under contract with UFC and will have his first fight in a few months.
