– Cody Rhodes def. Ludwig Kaiser in the opening match of SmackDown
After the match, Paul Heyman set up Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for Monday’s RAW. Cody said Solo isn’t ready and at WrestleMania, Roman Reigns isn’t ready either.
– Michael Cole announced that John Cena vs. Austin Theory for the United States Championship will be the first match of WrestleMania 39 – Night 1.
– SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair talked about how fans think she became a 14-time Women’s World Champion due to nepotism. Charlotte then quoted her father Ric Flair – Diamonds are forever and so is she.
– LA Knight def. Rey Mysterio with some help from Dominik Mysterio
Rey’s wife and daughter were at ringside for this match. Dominik approached his mother after the match and asked her what it feels like to be married to a deadbeat like Rey Mysterio, and then accused her of being a deadbeat Mom.
Rey punched Dominik and said he crossed the line by disrespecting Angie. The soon to be WWE Hall of Famer then accepted his son’s challenge for WrestleMania 39 to make their match official.

– Natalya & Shotzi def. Lacey Evans & Xia Li to qualify for the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Match
Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler came out after the match and said they have been added to this match as well.
– Gunther, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus had a Contract Signing for their Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship Match at WrestleMania 39. Butch attacked Gunther out of nowhere. Gunther got upset and wants justification.
– Intercontinental Champion Gunther def. Butch
– The KO Show took place in the main event segment. Kevin Owens gave Sami Zayn a WrestleMania 39 T-Shirt, which said “WrestleZaynia” on the front and “KOMania” on the back. The Usos then attacked them to end the show.
