On the 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling, one of the greatest Tag Teams of all time will reunite after 5 years: The Dudley Boyz aka Team 3D.

They were last seen together in 2018, when they appeared on the 25th anniversary of RAW episode and then were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a few months later, and then a final appearance at WrestleMania 34 as part of the Hall of Fame class.

Their last match as a tag team took place on December 17th 2016 at a House Of Glory Wrestling event.

Their last match as a tag team in WWE took place on the SummerSlam 2016 pre-show, where they lost to the team of Sami Zayn & Neville.

D-Von Dudley retired from in-ring competition in 2016 and then became a backstage producer in WWE. He left the company earlier this year.

Bubba Ray Dudley aka Bully Ray still wrestles. He last competed at IMPACT Wrestling Emergence 2023 Fallout on August 28th, where he teamed up with Steve Maclin to defeat Josh Alexander & PCO.

Now, D-Von has decided to come out of retirement as IMPACT Wrestling has announced that D-Von & Bully will have a tag team match on the 1000th episode.

The milestone 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling will be taped on September 9th at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York and will air on September 14th.

Other names from the past are also making a comeback for this episode, including Awesome Kong, Angelina Love & Velvet Sky.
