When Daniel Bryan returned to action earlier this year and got injured again, it was reported that he suffered another neck injury, however that’s not the case.
The Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion suffered a concussion during a match with Sheamus at SmackDown TV tapings after WrestleMania 31.
WWE wanted to keep quiet on the situation because Bryan was working additional live events after sustaining the concussion and the company is worried about a lawsuit coming if people found out that he wrestled while having a concussion.
At this point, Daniel Bryan’s concussion is said to be career threatening and his in-ring return looks very difficult. Bret Hart recently made comments that Daniel Bryan is done, for Bret recieved a lot of criticism for his comments, but now it looks like he was right. Below are Bret’s comments:
“Daniel Bryan is finished. He’ll never wrestle again. I don’t think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head.
One day, you learn it’s over. Doctors tell you that you can’t wrestle and you’ll never wrestle again. I lost millions of dollars because of that. I pray that it’s not the same for Daniel Bryan.”
