On May 18, at 8:50 AM local time, AEW wrestler Darby Allin successfully reached the top of Mount Everest.

His team issued the following statement:

“Good weather was in our favor, but many teams took advantage of the short window as well, which slowed our progress more than expected.

After summitting, the team had a much faster descent. Arriving back into to camp 4 they will spend the afternoon refueling and sleeping after a mammoth night on the mountain. Tomorrow a descent to Camp 2 and then into Base Camp, and you’ll get to hear the story from Darby himself.

Congratulations again to Darby, Ang Dorjee, Pasang Bhote, Tashi Thundu and Pemba. Thank you to Pemba Tharke for being our South Col cook and having water ready for everyone’s return.”

What a ride thanks AEW for everything in life. Thanks to the amazing team at adventure consultants and the Sherpa squad this sh*t was wild!”

During his climb, Darby set a new world record as well. The former TNT Champion landed a kickflip at Camp Two—an altitude of 20,958 feet—setting a new record for the highest kickflip ever performed.

Allin’s climb was part of a personal goal he’s had for some time. Originally planned for 2024, the expedition was delayed due to injuries.

• Nikki Bella Reacts To Fans Assuming That She Abused Her Ex-Husband

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella will be paying a significant amount of money to her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev, as part of their finalized divorce settlement.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Nikki has agreed to pay Artem $3,500 a month in child support for their son, Matteo. She will also give him $200,000 in total — $100,000 upfront and another $100,000 before the end of the year.

Nikki will cover the costs of Matteo’s speech therapy, while both parents will split expenses for his extracurricular activities. The former WWE star will retain control of her business entities, including Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment and Bonita Bonita.

The custody agreement includes alternating major holidays each year.

Artem was arrested in August 2023 after allegedly assaulting Nikki. She later filed a restraining order, which he contested, claiming she was the aggressor. The settlement was reached in November 2024, but a judge only recently approved it.

A few tweeted the following about this situation:

“Crazy that custody is with the father. Courts almost always lean towards the mother unless there is some really serious issues i.e. abuse.”

Nikki saw this and replied:

“I hope you all read this bc you all don’t understand the law. Child Support is about income per year. So whoever makes more and depending on how much they make a year they pay monthly. We have 50/50 custody. CA State Law.

And the 200k is bc he didn’t sign a pre nup. So that’s alimony. Has nothing to do with anything else except divorce. You’ll need to educate yourself and stop assuming off of click hate headlines.”
