On this day in 1999, the World Wrestling Federation aired the last ever episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Shotgun Saturday Night ‘.
It was pre-taped at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas and featured mid-card matches & highlight videos on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1999’ PPV.
Here’s the card:
– Val Venis vs. Tiger Ali Singh
– Gangrel & Edge vs. Bob Holly & 2 Cold Scorpio
– Test vs. Matt Hardy

After last night’s special “Bash At The Beach” episode of AEW Dynamite, SmackDown Superstar King Baron Corbin took a major shot at AEW by posting the following on Twitter:
“Winner gets a title shot so…..forget covers, everybody get pops, spot spot spot dive dive dive spot spot spot spot dive dive dive dive spot dive spot dive spot group spot group spot dive, get your sh*t in, neck beards ‘this is awesome’.”
