3. Brock Lesnar Silences The Critics Who Said He Can’t Take A Punch
During UFC 200 post-fight conference, Brock Lesnar silenced the critics who said he’s afraid to take a punch to the face. Below is what Lesnar said:
“I wasn’t rocked. I don’t know if they were his best shots or not. I felt them. The mystery’s gone. I guess I can take a shot.”
Below is what Lesnar said about his strategy for the fight:
“I just stuck to the game plan. I’ve been out of this game for five years, people, and for me to step back into the cage on really short notice and put a camp together — I couldn’t have done it without all the people that supported me. I stuck to the plan. I took some good shots. I took him down. It was the wrestler versus the power hitter. He never knocked the f*ck out of me. And here I am. I’m happy.”
Speaking of Lesnar, 4th ranked Heavyweight in the UFC, Dos Santos Junior, challenged Brock to a fight by using Lesnar’s famous quote “Can you see me now?” (which he used after defeating Heath Herring).
Below is what Dos Santos tweeted:
Congratulations on your victory Brock.
CAN I SEE YOU NOW?
