During a recent interview on the Beau Hightower YouTube channel, DX member X-Pac (Sean Waltman, fka The 1-2-3 Kid) revealed that he has WWE shares from back when the company went public.

Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation went public in 1999, at the peak of the famous Attitude Era, and that’s when some of their Superstars, including Waltman, received a number of WWF (now WWE) stock options.

Here’s what the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer said about his WWE shares:

“30,000 Shares. Yeah, there was a dozen of us that got stock options.”

He was then asked if he’s happy with his royalty checks from WWE. Here’s what X-Pac replied:

“It could always be more. It depends on what it is. Got a nice check for WWE 2K22 last year. They had a special nWo one.”

For his runs with the World Wrestling Federation as The 1-2-3 Kid / X-Pac (1993-1996 & 1998-2002) and World Championship Wrestling as Syxx (1996-1997), Sean Waltman is considered a legend in the pro wrestling business and is a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer after being inducted as a member of D-Generation X in 2019 and as a member of the new World order in 2021. He also had a few runs with TNA in 2003, 2005 and 2010.

When asked if he preferred being in DX or the nWo, Waltman said:

“When somebody asks me what my favorite was, I say DX because I had the most fun there and made the most money.

We were crushing it, right? Everything was amazing. But longevity-wise, it’s tough, because nWo, you still see those shirts everywhere.

But then you go and look at someone like (UFC Heavyweight Fighter) Derrick Lewis, who does the crotch chop DX pose after he’s knocking somebody out. So, that’s a tough question, man.”
