During a recent interview on the ‘Wrestling Shoot Interviews’ YouTube channel, Old School ECW/WWF Veteran Stevie Richards claimed that he was considered as a member for the D-Generation X (DX) faction, as well as a member for Evolution later on.

Here’s what Stevie said about him almost joining DX:

“It was a consideration right before I signed with the company. I had met with Vince and, by the way, absolutely totally unprepared for what sat across from me with Vince.

There was no preparation. Like I said, I was very immature in a lot of ways, but I think Vince also knew that I was gonna try to work hard.

You just don’t know sometimes with Vince when he wakes up in the morning.”

RSN reached out to their source in WWE and they had the following to say about Stevie’s claim:

“The people who drove the tour busses for members of Evolution made more than Stevie. Do you really think he was even considered? If he was ever told that, someone was really selling him a bunch of bull!”

Stevie Richards wrestled for the most famous pro-wrestling promotions back in the day, including the World Wrestling Federation / WWE (1999-2008), Eastern Championship Wrestling / Extreme Championship Wrestling (1994-1997), Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (1997) and Dixie Carter’s Total Nonstop Action! (2009-2011).
