37. Big Title Match Being Planned For WrestleMania 33
It looks like the United States Championship will finally enter the “Big Fight Feel” mode at WrestleMania 33.
Current plan is for the United States Champion Romain Reigns to defend his Title against Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 33. This would mean the “The Guy” will hold onto the US Title at least till next yeat’s big show.
WWE putting the US Title on main eventers and former World Champions like John Cena & Roman Reigns has done wonders for the Title as it helped bring value back to Title (with Cena’s US Title Open challenges every week & the US Title being defended for the first time inside Hell in a Cell – under Roman’s reign), which wasn’t happening when the Title was held by others.
