Return of The Cruiserweight Division

With more than 50% of WWE’s current roster consisting of legitimate Cruiserweight wrestlers (and some of them even competing in the main event for Heavyweight Titles), bringing back a separate Cruiserweight division wouldn’t make sense (as after the strict drug testing policies in WWE in 2007, WWE’s rosters started being filled by Cruiserweights and that was the reason they got rid of the Cruiserweight Title as even some of the top stars would have to compete in that division because of them losing size due to strict drug testing policy).

But hey, anything can happen in the WWE. WWE brought back the Cruiserweight Division and a Cruiserweight Title. They also decreased the Cruiserweight limit to 205 lbs so that some of their main eventers can continue main eventing (as some of them were below 220 lbs but above 205 lbs).

The funny thing here is wrestlers who weight less than 205 lbs are still main eventing and aren’t a part of the Cruiserweight division!
