1. New WWE Cruiserweight Champion Crowned on 205 Live
After this week’s episode of SmackDown Live went off air, 205 Live (new show for Cruiserweights) aired on the WWE Network.
In the main event of the show, Rich Swann defeated the Brian Kendrick to capture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Below are the results from the premiere episode of 205 Live:
– The Bollywood Boyz (Harv Sihra & Gurv Sihra) def. Tony Nese & Drew Gulak
– Jack Gallagher def. Ariya Daivari
– WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Rich Swan def. The Brian Kendrick (C) to win the Title.
It should be noted that 205 Live aired from the same arena from which SmackDown Live aired and many fans left after SmackDown was over. WWE officials had to rearrange the seating plan of people in order to make the arena look full.
2. WWE Asks Fans Who They Would Like To See Face Goldberg
WWE has a poll on their website where they ask the fans who they would like to see face Goldberg.
Below are the choices and the percentage of votes they received:
– The Undertaker (41%)
– Roman Reigns (20%)
– John Cena (19%)
– Others (10%)
– Rusev (6%)
– Bray Wyatt (4%)
Since Goldberg will be a part of the Royal Rumble 2017 match, we might get to see some of the above confrontations!
