• Fans Reportedly Returning To WWE Events In July

According to the the Mat Men Podcast, WWE will be holding events with fans in attendance in July.

Mat Men Podcast previously broke out the news of NXT moving to Tuesday nights a couple of months back.

It was reported that WWE will be holding events with fans in attendance from July 16 to July 19.

This could mean that the July 16th episode of SmackDown on Friday could be the first main roster non-PPV show to have fans in attendance since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The July 17th & 18th events might be non-televised house shows, and then the July 19th event will be a live RAW on Monday.

This could be WWE’s way of testing if fans are ready to return to events on a regular basis and if it’s the right time to start touring again (which WWE wants to do after SummerSlam 2021).

AEW recently announced that they’re going back on the road, so that could have affected WWE’s decision as well.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
