• “Get the f**k out” – Dustin Rhodes To Frustrated AEW Wrestlers

During an appearance at Terrificon 2022, current AEW Superstar Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust in the WWF/E) addressed the AEW wrestlers that might be interested in going to WWE now that Triple H is the Head Of Creative.

Below is what Dustin said:

“Did you see [Tony Khan’s] interview? Yeah, I mean you got the few that just left [WWE] that are under 5-year deals, right? So we got them for a while.

They’re not just gonna get up and leave, you can’t do that. That’s what a contract is about. As far as anybody else that doesn’t have that deal, hey man, go for it, whatever. I think experience it if you want to. If you don’t like the current atmosphere, that’s a personal issue.

You need to move on. Maybe they’ll do something different with you over there, you know what I mean?

I think it’s going to be a change slowly with Triple H at the helm but it’s gonna be a good change, it’s not gonna be a bad change and if not, it’s gonna be a little bit of the same plus a little more wrestling I would say, a little more storytelling which will be great for the business and great for wrestling fans.

Yeah, I mean you got so many places you can go now. But two places that really, really stand out are ours and theirs. You have to want one of those two and whatever you do, just make the best of it.

If your contract’s up and you’ve had enough with AEW, go, get the f**k out.”

• Old School ECW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW Veteran Roadkill (Real name: Michael DePoli) celebrates his 46th birthday today.

Roadkill wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion from 1996 till its demise in 2001 and then went on the wrestle for the WWE in 2005 and from 2006 till 2008, mainly on ‘ECW on ScyFy’ as well for WWE’s developmental promotion’s OVW Ohio Valley Wrestling.

For most of his ECW run he was put in a Tag Team with Danny Doring and together they became the ECW World Tag Team Champions on December 3, 2000 by defeating the Full Blooded Italians.

Still to this day they are the last ever ECW Tag Team Champions, considering that – as opposed to the ECW World Title – the Tag belts were not brought back for WWE’s 2006-2010 version of ECW (on ScyFy).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROADKILL!
