4. “If Goldberg has the balls to step in the ring with me, the outcome will be different this time” – Brock Lesnar
During the WWE 2K17 media event, Brock Lesnar was asked about what he thinks of Goldberg saying he killed Lesnar at WrestleMania 20. Lesnar said that if Goldberg has the balls to step in the ring with him, then where’s he at?
Lesnar was then asked if he’s ready to face Goldberg and if the outcome of the match will be different this time. Lesnar noted he faced him 12 years ago and this time the result would be different.
Lesnar went on to say the following about him:
“I’m not a Superstar, I’m an a$$-kicker. This is legit to me, it’s all legit. It’s the real deal. That’s why I’m standing here today. Vince McMahon brought me back to this company because I’m the real fu*king deal. No ifs, ands or buts about it.”
Lesnar was asked about what’s left for him to accomplish. He said he has a couple of matches under his belt and he’s taking one day at a time. At SummerSlam, it’s Randy Orton and Bill Goldberg might be next.
It should be noted that Goldberg is rumored to make his WWE return tonight at SummerSlam 2016, so Goldberg challenging Brock Lesnar could indeed become a reality. It should be noted that Goldberg is in town for tonight’s SummerSlam 2016.
