• Goldberg Gives An Update On His WWE Retirement

Old School WCW Legend Bill Goldberg has one more match left in his current WWE contract and it doesn’t look like he’s going to sign a new deal to continue wrestling after that.

Goldberg recently turned 55 years old and revealed on the Pat McAfee Show that he needs shoulder surgery.

However, he’s going to hold off on it and get done with his final match first.

Here’s what the WWE Hall Of Famer said:

“This last time with Lashley was the longest time they gave me to prep and you see the results. I felt pretty good.

I won’t tell everybody on national radio or television that my shoulder has been destroyed for the last three years, five years, eight years and I need surgery, but I’ll get it when I’m done. I’ll get it when I’m finished.

If Vince [McMahon] calls me tomorrow morning and says, ‘Goldberg, we need you in a month.’ What am I going to do if I get surgery? I’ll get it done when it’s time.”

Goldberg’s last match took place in October at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021 PPV in Saudi Arabia, where he defeated Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Match. Fans called this Goldberg’s best match since his 2016 return.
