WCW Legend Bill Goldberg, renowned for his dominance in professional wrestling, has chosen to remain silent on the allegations surrounding his previous employer, Vince McMahon. McMahon, the former WWE Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings, faces accusations of s*x trafficking and s*xual misconduct from former WWE employee Janel Grant.

Despite the legal storm brewing around Vince McMahon, Goldberg declined to comment during an interview with ‘93.7 The Ticket’ and emphasized that without all the facts, it wouldn’t be fair for anyone to form opinions on the matter. Bill pointed out his absence during the alleged incidents and refrained from expressing personal views, acknowledging the mixed experiences during his time with WWE.

Here’s what Goldberg said:

“No, I really don’t. Everybody has an opinion, and again, it’s kind of like me asking you how you felt about your head coaches throughout the years, about your general managers throughout the years. It’s not fair for anybody to give an opinion based upon their own opinion and not be run through the wringer by other people based upon what they think of that. Because they weren’t there. So as in all bosses, I think, former bosses, I mean, we had good times, and we had bad times, but that it is what it is.

The allegations and the things that have come to the forefront over the past six months or a year, I have no comment on it. It’s not my place. So I think that the current owners of the WWE are going to make decisions based upon what they believe, and I think the decisions they have made have been favorable to the masses.

Again, I will be this objective guy in answering a question. But yeah, personally, I’m not gonna give you an answer because that’s a personal, professionally, that’s the answer that I can give you because I try to be as professional as possible.”

As McMahon’s legal team works to counter the lawsuit, his public support within WWE dwindles. Bill Goldberg’s decision not to weigh in on the allegations reflects a stance of withholding judgment until more information surfaces. Only time will reveal the outcome of Vince McMahon’s legal battle with Janel Grant.

In the same interview, Goldberg addressed rumors surrounding a potential move to All Elite Wrestling. Despite reports of discussions with AEW President Tony Khan, Goldberg clarified that he won’t be joining the promotion any time soon.

Goldberg cited AEW’s perceived tone, labeling it as “cheesy”, as a major deterrent. Despite engaging in talks with Khan, he emphasized his reluctance to align with a product that doesn’t meet his standards.

Here’s what the former 4x World Champion had to say:

“I’ve talked to [Tony Khan] a number of times throughout the past. But, you know, and this is where you’re gonna get the most blunt answer you’re gonna get from me. The product is too cheesy.

The product is too cheesy. It doesn’t deserve to have, I mean, whatever, I mean, now you’re really gonna get me going, but if there was a comparable viable option as a competitor that would allow me to still look myself in the mirror after I was a member of their roster, yeah. Then it would be a consideration. But not a chance.”

As a free agent, Goldberg hinted at considering alternatives if they align with his vision. However, for now, he firmly closed the door on any AEW speculation, putting an end to the ongoing rumors.
