• How Much Money Has F9 Made At The Box Office So Far?

F9: Fast & Furious 9 has now released in the US and it’s a commercial success.

It has made more than $70 million in US so far, which is a record in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic era.

While F9 surpassed surpassed the domestic launch of Hobbs & Shaw ($60 million), it didn’t draw the numbers that The Fate of The Furious drew in its opening week in 2017 ($98.8 million). WWF Legend The Rock (who’s also the highest paid actor in Hollywood) was a part of both Hobbs & Shaw and The Fate of The Furious.

F9 is being shown in 4,179 theaters in North America and had the biggest domestic opening weekend since “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, which was released back in December 2019.

F9 has made more than $400 million internationally. The movie drew $30 million last Friday, which is a one-day record in the current pandemic era.

WWE Legend John Cena is playing the role of Jakob Toretto in F9, the brother of lead character Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel).

WWE congratulated Cena on the success of F9 with the following tweet:

Cena is expected to return to WWE in July.
