• Huge Comeback Reportedly Confirmed

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement is reportedly confirmed and that is set to take place on November 2 at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV in Saudi Arabia.

HBK previously turned down all offers for an in-ring return. WWE officials want HBK to work the show in Saudi because they want to keep the Saudi Prince happy as they’re making more from these Saudi shows than they make from WrestleMania.

WWE reportedly made between $40-50 million for Greatest Royal Rumble earlier this year.

HBK’s last match was back in 2010 at WrestleMania 26, where he lost a ‘Streak vs. Career’ match to The Undertaker.

The match at WWE Crown Jewel PPV is expected to be The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane) vs. D-Generation X (Triple H & Shawn Michaels).

As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, The Undertaker announced that his ‘brother’ Kane will be in his corner during his ‘Last Time Ever’ match against Triple H (with Shawn Michaels in HHH’s corner) in the main event of WWE Super Show-Down on October 6. Something will obviously happen in this bout which will result in the above stated tag team match being booked.

According to WBIR, WWE is set to donate $100,000 to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation for Kane’s upcoming WWE appearance at WWE Super Show-Down.

WWE noted in a local press release that Kane requested this donation in appreciation for returning to WWE.

Vince McMahon said the following regarding this:

“I appreciate his gesture to the heroes who selflessly put themselves in harm’s way and look forward to his continued progress in his mission.”

Kane said the following:

“I’m extremely proud that my career with WWE will have a positive impact on the community through my role as Knox County Mayor.”

WWE will issue the check in January 2019, when they are in Knoxville for a WWE Live Event.
