WWE issued the following statement to FOX Sports regarding Hulk Hogan:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
Below is an excerpt from TMZ’s report on this situation:
“A WWE rep tells us they fired Hogan after getting a transcript of comments made on his sex tape. Hogan is in the middle of a lawsuit over the tape … and the n-word remarks are expected to come out once the trial begins later this year. The WWE says it investigated to make sure Hogan had really said what they read in the transcript … and then pulled the trigger, terminating his contract.”
Below are a few quotes from the tape, as reported by the National Enquirer & Radar Online:
“I guess we’re all a little racist. She is making some real bad decisions now. My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jacka$$ for her. The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is [to] sell beach records.”
They noted that Hulk Hogan also talked about how a “black billionaire guy” had offered to fund Brooke’s music career.
“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guy’s son. I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n**ga. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever. I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n**ga, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n**ga worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. f–king n**ga.”
Editor’s Note: While what he said there is 100% wrong, no doubt, let’s not forget that he was filmed against his will, without even knowing that fraud Bubba The Love Sponge filmed him. What he said in the transcript was very private bedroom talk, which he can NOT be held accountable for.
