• “I really don’t give a sh*t. I don’t care what she says” – Brock Lesnar On Stephanie McMahon’s Comments 5 Years Ago Today

5 Years ago today, the UFC 200 pay-per-view took place. This event featured the return of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar originally defeated Mark Hunt via unanimous decision in a 3-round Heavyweight bout, but the outcome was overturned to a No Contest later, due to Lesnar failing a drug test.

Lesnar was still under a contract with WWE when this fight took place. WWE worked out a deal with UFC, which saw UFC promote WWE’s SummerSlam 2016 PPV (main evented by Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton) during their show, in return for Lesnar’s octagon comeback.

In the weeks prior to UFC 200, Stephanie McMahon said in an interview with Business Insider that WWE doesn’t support Lesnar’s return to UFC (despite agreeing to let Lesnar fight).

During a UFC 200 media call, Lesnar was asked to comment on this remark from Stephanie.

Here’s what The Beast said:

“I really don’t give a sh*t. I don’t know, I don’t care what she says. I really haven’t given it much thought, I really haven’t. Nothing’s going to change really. I’m looking forward to just stepping in the cage again. I’m waiting for that moment for the door to shut. Ask me after the fight. I don’t what the hell is going to happen.”

UFC 200 ended up drawing over 1 Million pay-per-view buys.
