• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Veteran Mantaur (Real name: Mike Halac) celebrates his 51st birthday today.
Mantaur wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, where he was managed by legendary Old School NWA/WWF Manager Jim Cornette.
In late 1995, Halac had left the WWF and joined Extreme Championship Wrestling for a brief stint as “Bruiser Mastino”.
In 1996, he returned to the WWF as Goldust’s unnamed bodyguard during the feud with The Ultimate Warrior, only to dissapear again and return in 1997 as “Tank”, an original member of ‘The Truth Commission’.
Nowadays he still wrestles on the independent scene every now and then.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANTAUR!

• Indy Wrestler Beats Up His Opponent For Real During A Match, Former WWE Wrestler Reacts (Video)
An Indy Wrestler named Brad Anderson recently beat up his opponent, Jacob Ryan, for real during a match.
True Story:
At the show today, Brad Anderson (son of Gene) “Shot” on the kid he was wrestling, started beating him up for real, then was choking him out, and the other wrestlers had to intervene and insisted on Anderson leaving the premises. @mitchellpwtorch was there. 1/2— Matt Koon (@mattkoonmusic) May 12, 2019
The kid wasn’t expecting it, nor should he have. This was apparently a “receipt” for an angle last month that involved Brad Anderson’s son. Every wrestler was outraged, and everyone in the audience was shocked.
Again, not an angle. This dude tried to seriously hurt him. For real— Matt Koon (@mattkoonmusic) May 12, 2019

Below is what former WWE & TNA wrestler Austin Aries tweeted about this:
Hey @thefrankmir, if fuckwit here is man enough, I think I just found your next pro wrestling opponent.
If you accept Brad, we’ll personally pay your rate out of our own pockets, as Frank and I will just sacrifice a few days of post workout shakes for your last $40 payday. https://t.co/nK8PbBJ6zr

For those who don’t know the person Aries mentioned in his tweet, it’s former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir (the man who defeated Brock Lesnar in Brock’s UFC debut).
