Another Indy Wrestler’s Death In The Same Week
Vince Steele, known as “The Jurassic Juggernaut,” tragically passed away during a Brii Combination Wrestling (BCW) event due to a heart attack earlier this week. New details have emerged, shedding light on the events leading to his passing.
According to PWInsider, Steele was participating in a four-way match against Jeff Skywalker, Max Capacity, and Benny Blanco when he collapsed in the corner of the ring.
The referee immediately halted the match, calling for the bell as another referee, who was CPR-certified, rushed to provide assistance. BCW officials promptly contacted 911.
While police arrived “within minutes” and took over CPR efforts, an ambulance did not arrive for 23 minutes.
A defibrillator was used as medical personnel worked to revive Steele, but he was ultimately transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
