On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF RAW IS WAR’.
It was broadcasted from the Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina and featured matches, interviews & segments, on the road to the ‘WWF Vengeance 2001’ PPV.

• Interesting Note Regarding Lana’s Botched Promo On RAW
On this week’s RAW, Lana had multiple botches in her promo, but one of those botches was actually scripted.
Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Lana was scripted to make the first mistake, but the next one was totally on her:
“You wanna know the script on this? Because I actually know. She was supposed to say 90 miles, she was not supposed to say 90 days and it was supposed to end up 90 feet. She was supposed to say 90 miles, Lashley was supposed to correct her and she was supposed to say 90 feet.
Somehow she said 90 days which she wasn’t supposed to say. So, she did, in fact, screw up — I thought the 90 miles had to be a screw-up, but in fact, that actually was part of the script.”
