• JBL Has Given His Gimmick To Former US Champion
On this week’s episode of RAW, WWE Hall Of Famer JBL returned and said he has a big announcement to make.
JBL revealed that Triple H traded Rey Mysterio to SmackDown in exchange for Happy Corbin (who is back to being Baron Corbin) to RAW.
Corbin (who is a former United States Champion) then went on to defeat Dolph Ziggler in a singles match.
JBL has given his “Wrestling God” gimmick to Corbin, as he said the following in a backstage interview after RAW:
“Me returning has nothing to do with the fact that this is the emergence, the debut of the modern day ‘Wrestling God’.
The era of dominance, this man is a cornerstone, this is what you build a company on.
So this has nothing to do with my return, I came back for one reason and one reason only and that is because this man, this man is here.”
