• John Cena failed to break his 5-year televised singles match losing streak at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Saudi Arabia, where he lost to Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline. Solo hit Cena with 10 back-to-back Samoan Spikes to pick up the biggest win of his career.
After the match, Cena teased his WWE retirement on Instagram, as he posted a photo of David Beckham from Beckham’s final game in 2013.
According to insider source BWE, there were discussions of Cena working Survivor Series 2023 before Crown Jewel, but after Crown Jewel, there have been no discussions about his status for the November 25th PLE as of this writing, which will feature War Games.

• Kairi Sane returned to WWE at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and helped IYO SKY defeat Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
IYO & Kairi beat up Bianca after the match. Bayley looked surprised and was scared to see what was happening because she beat up Kairi a few years ago and sent her out of WWE.
According to insider source BWE, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H is interested in forming a faction with IYO, Kairi and Asuka.
Bayley is back in the US and tweeted the following to Dakota Kai this morning:
“@ImKingKota I’m back in the states from Saudi. Call me back.”
It looks like Bayley is worried, as the future of Damage CTRL doesn’t look bright after the return of Kairi.
