• Jon Jones Reacts To Israel Adesanya’s 1st UFC Loss At UFC 259

In the main event of tonight’s UFC 259 pay-per-view, Jan Blachowicz defeated UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya via unanimous decision to retain the UFC Light Heavyweight (205 lbs) Championship.

This was Adesanya’s first loss in UFC. His MMA record is 20-1 now.

In the post-fight interview, Israel said he “dared to be great” by going up 20 lbs and challenging the Light Heavyweight Champion, but he couldn’t get it done and this was a one-off.

Former two time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who vacated the Light Heavyweight Title to move up to Heavyweight, posted the following tweets regarding tonight’s main event:
