During a conference call yesterday, current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle was asked about his retirement from Professional Wrestling.
Kurt Angle said he enjoys wrestling and is very passionate about it. He then revealed he doesn’t intend to retire from professional wrestling within the next two years.
Angle was also asked about returning to WWE, and Angle said he hasn’t given it much thought. As we already know, Angle contacted WWE last year when his TNA contract expired, but WWE wanted to give him a full time contract whereas Kurt wanted a part time contract. So this led to Angle re-signing with TNA.
Angle also said that the reason he believes that Destination America is supporting him as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion is because of his Olympic background.
