• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Mideon (Real name: Dennis Knight) celebrates his 51st birthday today.

Between 1992 and 1994, he wrestled for Ted Turner’s WCW as Tex Slazenger and frequently teamed with Shanghai Pierce, a Tag Team that was later reunited in early 1996, when both wrestled on World Wrestling Federation TV, only this time Knight was billed as Phineas I. Godwinn (short P.I.G.), while his team partner had already joined the WWF a little over a year earlier as Henry O. Godwinn.

Together they wrestled as The Godwinns, first managed by WWF Legend Hillbilly Jim, but later after their Heel Turn managed by Uncle Cletus (a repackaged T.L. Hopper).

During the Attitude Era, Dennis Knight became known as Mideon, a member of The Undertaker’s evil ‘Ministry of Darkness’ stable.

Once the faction disbanded, Mideon’s career went downhill, and after a short stint as Naked Mideon, he was let go by the WWF in early 2001.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIDEON!
